Welcome to the Pain Elimination Program
The PEP is a self-guided handbook teaching you to take control of your pain without the use of prescription drugs. The program focuses on educating and guiding you on how to treat inflammation in the body through food, exercise, supplementation and sleep.
Addressing inflammation is really at the root of this program as we now know that most contemporary diseases and chronic afflictions are either caused or directly influenced by it. This approach allows you to find a personalized plan that will help you down the path of renewed energy, restful sleep, ease in movement, new vitality and healthy aging.
Food is not only fuel for your body, but it is information. Every time you consume a food, your body has to make a decision in what to do with it. It may look at the food as harmful, causing an immune reaction which may contribute to inflammation or it may look at the food as beneficial and use it to support the body. The goal is to figure out which foods elicit the beneficial response and keep out the foods that cause a harmful immune reaction.
This program will take you through 36 days of change and discovery to create your lifetime plan:
- Days 1-10
- You’ll work on clearing your body by eating only the foods prescribed on the food list, keeping detailed logs of food intake, sleep, exercise, how you’re feeling, etc, shopping for real foods, and taking high quality supplements.
- Days 11-35
- You’ll systematically begin re-introducing food groups by adhering to the reintroduction schedule and log any possible reactions.
- Days 36-life
- You’ll be creating the master food list, keeping in the foods that agreed with you and keeping out the foods that caused a reaction. In addition you’ll be working on balancing rest, stress, and exercise.
